What to say when you send flowers - part 2

Now with more fun occasions for sending flowers, I find that those who attempt humor usually do it when they are either in the dog house with their significant other, or just to say hi. Just saying hi with some humor is great, however, all too many times the humor in making up for something just gets twisted into "now you want to make light of this?" sort of reaction. Humor in the dog house is a risky, risky move. Or even worse, you've finally got your head out of the dog house and the humor backfires, and in you go again. The point with using humor is to cheer someone up or just to make them laugh. Either way, this will take some creativeness and some serious thought. Try pulling something from a past experience together and giving it a twist. Take a popularized piece and use it relative to each other. Just spend some quality time with it and it should turn out fine.

What To Say When You Send Flowers

It is important to be as thoughtful and genuine as possible, without sounding trite. This is especially important for sending funeral flowers or a sympathy arrangement to a coworker or aquaintance.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with you"
or short and sweet is always a okay..."with sympathy" or "please accept our condolences"

Inaugural Post

Sending flowers is a multi-billion dollar industry. We send flowers all over the world for delivery. Today, just about any flower shop can handle this for you, either by telephone, in person or online. Online is the ever more popular and easier way to do it. Online catalogs of flowers make it easy to choose the right arrangement, invoke a particular sentiment, and using the secure online forms is much less risky than doing it over the phone. But more importantly, there is more to it than just finding a suitable flower shop that has the capacity to service your needs. What about the greeting card, or the type of flower or the right time to send flowers. This gets a little more complicated and hopefully what this blog will help clear up.

How to Send Cheap Flowers

This is easy. Or is it? Find out who puts their flowers in a box and ships them through a common carrier. These flowers are usually placed in a vase and tightly wrapped, and then placed in an insulated box for shipment. Many companies do it these days, proflowers proliferated it, FTD now does it, as do others like Martha, and Value Flora. Buyer beware. The shipping charges can creep up to professional florist delivered price ranges, and may end up being a better value to just have them hand delivered by a florist especially if you can get same day delivery.
